After serving 2 hitches in the USAF, we decided to try civilian life and took my discharge in June 1968. After the birth of our 3rd son, we decided to join a Church so the
boys would have a Christian exposures. Ed's family was I guess Baptist, but not regular Church attenders. Toni was raised as a Catholic. In fact she attended Catholic school untill she was in her 3rd
year of high school. Neither of us really knew much about the Lord Jesus. We heard about Him, but we never met Him.
Eventually after much conviction from the Holy Spirit, and by the Grace of God through the Blood of Jesus Christ (and no doubt many prayers from concerned Christians), Ed
was saved in the spring of 1972 at the age of 30. Toni was saved about 2 weeks later.
The Lord heard our hearts and gave us a miracle with a little girl. Even though Toni was told she probably could not get pregnant any more, He quicken in her heart from the
Book of Hebrews. where it said "by faith Sarah conceived". She claimed that to be a word from God and the following year we had our little girl. Before she was born Toni, not knowing except by that
scripture and our hearts desire, said her name had to be either Faith or Sarah.
Our Christian walk has been rough at times. Ed was working in Chicago IL when he was saved. His drastic change of life styles caused much trouble at work. He went from
being one of the boys to being an outcast (black balled as far as promotions went) but happy in the Lord. We trusted in the Lord rather than man.
The Lord opened an opportunity to work in Atlanta GA in 1976 later being transfer to Chattanooga TN. The Lord blessed Ed's work and was promoted quickly.
In the spring of 1978 the Baptist Church in Flintstone GA licensed Ed to preach. Shortly thereafter he quite this wonderful job and went to Bible school in NC and preaching
at every opportunity in camp grounds, Churches and anywhere the Lord permitted.
Upon Graduating, a Church in East TN called Ed & Toni to be their Pastor. After a fruitful ministry there, I returned to the same company that I had left with the
understanding of having Sundays off for Church.
Apart from Preaching and teaching we eventually got into prison ministry. Ed & Toni ministered every Saturday night to men on death row and on Sunday mornings after
early church Ed would conduct Chapel services at RiverBend Max security Prison.
We are now members of the "Best Church in TN" "DFA" Dickson First Assembly in Dickson TN. God is really blessing this Church, He has given us what I feel is the perfect
Pastor for us. A man bless with wisdom and the Holy Spirit.
Due to health problems Ed is on long term disability. This is the purpose of this web site. We are trying to use the talent God has blessed us with and proclaim Jesus on
the Web. Praying that He will use this web site for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ until He returns for His saints, and even after He raptures the us Saints that this site may remain to proclaim
His Love and Salvation.
